I have a Linksys Multi Media extender that I would like to "control" from a
laptop with Windows XP Pro Pack 3.
Can I updrade my XP pro to a MCE version?
If yes, can it be done:
    A/ Without reformating the HDD
    B/ Without migrating to Vista
Then, where can I find the patch or the updrage for that.

    Thanks for your help

In that case should I go for XP media center 2005 or Vista home premium?

If you can really go XP or Vista MCE is there really an advantage to
going vista??? I mean if your hardware can support both is there an
advantage to going vista over XP MCE????
And if so what is it???
