I am running a SBS 2003 and i have laptops connecting via vpn to our server
with the host/client software provided by sbs 2003. Running a broadband
wireless card on the laptop I am able to: connect to the server via the vpn
client, successfully ping our server with private ip "ping 10.0.1.6", connect
to the intranet, and recieve exchange email... just like on the home network.

Where I am having problems is through windows explorer when i am browsing to
our server to pull up network share folders. I am able to find our server
"My Network Places -> Entire Network -> Microsoft Windows network ->
OUR-SB-SERVER". when i click on the server i get this error after a lag...
"OUR-SB-SERVER is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if
you have access permissions. The list of servers for this workgroup is not
    currently available"

I am the net admin, and through a vpn I get this error, along with all other
users trying to access shares. I am running tcp/ip with net bios, ms client
on the laptop. Working on the network with a hardline the laptop is able to
access the share files on the server. Is there a security setting I need to
    adjust on the server?

    Thanks!

update... I am able to access server folders under via "My Network Places ->
User Folders on OUR-SB-SERVER". No changes have been made I just realized
this route works. So why can i view folders through this path but get the
error message when trying to manually browse to the server through "Entire
    Network" ?
