Why won't IE 7 save my default home page?

I go to Internet Options and set my home page, but even when I Apply it, it's
not saved. Every time, IE just switched me back to MSN as "Home."

I don't want MSN as home. I want IE to save my Home page as something
different, but Apply won't keep the change in place, no matter what I do.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Are you using Zone Alarm? If so - it may be blocking your intended home
    page and defaulting to MSN.

Options/settings in several third-party applications may be disallowing the
change. These include Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer, SpywareBlaster,
SpySweeper, Norton AntiVirus, McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware, and Zone
    Alarm (Free and Pro).

And if I'm not running any of those?

OK, I'm using some of these 3rd-party applications. How do I configure them
to allow my IE7 home page selection to stick?

Dunno. You'll have to ask Tech Support for each app, I guess.
