Throuble installing Framework v3.5SP1 on Vista HPx64

I'm running Vista x64 Home Premium and keep getting probblems installing
Framework v3.5 SP1.

I've Tried to install it via Update, via Download Center and via Full-file
download (230MB dotnetfx35.exe).
This last one starts to download a file of, what it sais, 44MB, but it'll
only 30MB. After that it'll try to reconnect five times. After that pailes 5
times it sais the download is a success and starts to install the "junk".
Eventually the setup will hang and get's killed by Windows. After that I
reboot the system and Windows starts to install the fragments of the update
it does have, corrupting Framework and with it Paint.NET and Silverlight
(these are most notisable).


> Whilest typing the above I ran the full-file again. This time it still hung, but id did send a result log of it's actions to MS so it has done soimething more than other times I ran it.
(This time I had the Firewall and AVguard killed during install)
