Hey all. I got tired of WLM and decided to go with Thunderbird.. The
question I have is how does one get rid of old posts? I just get a
message stating that it will not delete it if it is not from me?

Use the 'message aging' feature:

When Reading NEW GROUPS THAT IS TRUE,
When Reading your own email, it should delete no matter what IF the
messages are stored locally on your PC,

IF reading NEWSGROUPS, you can filter, by clicking the 'Unread' button
and it will either display ALL or only the Unread for that session

This Is A Mistake I keep making, but I do wake up and remember the
conditions usually

Drew,
I guess a web interface is out of the question, right?
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...general/topics
That's the one I use, no need for a newsreader.
