I tried changing the time, and then back again to the correct, as i had been
using the time/date thingy as a calendar, so assumed I had messed something
up.

Has anyone any solution?

I have had that same error for the last 2 days on 2 totally different
computers. My own at home and now one I was updating for a relative. Anyone
know what is going on?

It appears a Microsoft certificate has expired. I was able to go to the
update site directly at https://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
and get the updates on my Win98 system.

I'm having the same problem, too. I noticed it yesterday (02/28/06). I
tried changing the year, and then back to the correct with still same
problem. I also checked, and am in the correct time zone. Any solution for
the problem??

i went to this page and then the IE told me to go to internet options and
then to click on "languages" and select a language i want to use. after i did
that, everything was fine again.
