This issue is TIME-SENSITIVE because one of us is in online graduate school.

We have had numerous problems since the last several Microsoft Update
downloads. Advanced Find does not work, we cannot update flagged items or
calendar listings to open later, and we cannot send or receive properly,
either. In addition, we have a problem with LDAP. At least some of these
issues are because there is a problem with our *.pst file. Does anyone have
any solutions?!

We are asking for help HERE because we believe MICROSOFT UPDATE DOWNLOADS may
have created at least some of these problems. We need THIS group's help, too!

Sorry for the caps, but there are no editing options available!

No need to be rude, prehaps your issues were related to known issues with SP3
for Office 2003 - have you checked that out.

If you're not satisfied, then by all means contact MS -

How to obtain assistance from MS Support

Customers in the U.S. and Canada can receive technical support from
Microsoft Product Support Services at 1-866-PCSAFETY. There is no-charge for
support calls that are associated with security updates or using Automatic
Updates. When you call, clearly state what your problem is. Note any error
codes. If you're using Vista, make sure you tell them what you see in Event
Viewer.

In other countries, see http://support.microsoft.com/security
"No-Charge Support...for virus and other security-related" issues in
right-hand menu for localized contact information.

For more information about how to contact Microsoft for support issues,
visit the International Support Web site:
https://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx

How do we get help with Office 2003 SP3? We don't think that's likely - we
downloaded that a while ago - but possibly there are conflicts with later
Office updates?

Thanks!

Have you done some troubleshooting of your own, like uninstalling the last
updates to see if that fixed the problem and then reinstalling the updates
one by one until you find which one is causing the problem? You could start
by uninstalling the last Outlook ones.

How do we uninstall the updates? Only a very few show up in Control Panel's
Add/Remove Programs.

We are good with software, not with programming-type issues! :-S

With rare exceptions, no one from MS (including the Office team) monitors
these newsgroups. We're all volunteers here, including MVPs.

We may be able to assist you with issues using Windows Update but I'm afraid
you'll have to seek help elsewhere for problems encountered after installing
an update. In your case, the Outlook newsgroups would be the best place for
you.
