may be i should be more clear about my problem: basically i use a device
called flip usb/sound and recently i noticed that the monitor that is
connected to the ext vga port on my laptop is on during boot up when in fact
it's supposed to be the main lcd monitor that should display the boot up. i
have tried using fn-f5 which is the keys to change between lcd, lcd + ext.,
and ext. by it self. but this doesn't change anything, the only thing that
changes this problem is if i disconnect the ext. connector completly then it
returns to the lcd. could anyone help me out?
