Today's Update

I downloaded today's updates, when I restarted, my computer hung on the
Windows startup screen with the blue bars going across the screen. I have
windows XP sp2. I restarted the computer in safe mode and uninstalled the
windows updates, but I can't uninstall the update to Microsoft Outlook 2003.
My system won't restart unless it is in safe mode and I don't know what to do
now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just an idea, put your office cd in and run setup customize and delete the
outlook 2003, reboot and reinstall it.

I would try and remove it through Control Panel / Add and Remove first.
It should be listed under Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and then the updates
underneath. Making sure you have "show updates" ticked.

If that wasn't an option open to me then I would possibly try a System
Restore.

If that didn't work, possibly start the computer in "last known good
configuration".

Just thoughts.
