Hi Togeir,

On 8/1/04 I posted here and questioned if 867801 (which I installed) might
have effected my not being able to search from my address bar any longer.
You suggested "Try this" 871260, which I did and it didn't help (suspect ISP
update).

My question is. After this rollup, I discovered that in my Norton Personal
Firewall 2003 & NAV2004, when I tried to use "View Logs" I got an error to
submit to MS "Common Client Log Viewer" & submitted report to MS, involving
cclgview.exe and msvcr70.dll. Had to uninstall & reinstall NPF & NAV (per
Symantec). I still get the log viewer error and now "Symantec Integrator"
error & submitted report to MS, involving nmain.exe and msvcr70.dll.
Everything else works in these 2 programs.

Note that 871260 does not include any security updates that 867801
does not have, only bug fixes. I would think 871260 is not offered
on Windows Update because some of those fixes in it are very recent,
and Microsoft haven't done enough testing to feel safe to deploy it
in a wide scale.

This rollup would not have caused these errors would it? It all worked
before I installed this. I Just thought I'd ask cause something happened and
I'm just trying to backtrack & check everything. I never had any problems
with NAV or NPF.
Thank you,
Judy

Hi

I doubt that this IE update has something to do with this issue,
but you could uninstall this IE update to see if it helps...
