Too many problems with Messenger

I really hate to say it, but I'm so fed up with messenger that I'm done..
I've heard this from many people, and it's really sad that they have to keep
messing with something that actually worked once upon a time to the point
where people are so unhappy that they just don't want to deal with it
anymore. I had 7.5 which worked great! I was extremely happy with it until it
started freezing and told me I had to update. So I update to 8.0 and it's
never once worked right. Just freezes my entire computer. I don't have time
to deal with this crap so I tried to switch back. Nothing works except the
way old 4.0 version. I have at least 50 people on my contact list in msn.
Over 30 have told me they're switching to yahoo. Too damn bad for msn I
suppose but they did it to themselves.

I dont think that they care too much...or even if they are reading this
at all

try trillian,,,,many folks prefer it over messenger. i think no responses
because they probably have the holiday weekend off.

Preaching to the choir here.

I have a computer that has been running for 2 years with few problems. It
can go weeks without a reboot and often does. Since "Live" both spaces and
messenger, I have about a two a day reboot process going.

If I wanted to convert my computer to a 286 I would have. MS Live has
accomplished this for me.

My laptop. Same story. Half the speed, ten times the reboots thanks to the
MSN Live Messenger upgrade.

I send five-ten error reports to Microsoft daily. Never hear a response or a
solution.

It sucks.
