Tool for counting internet traffic of specific application

Hi,

can anyone recommend me a tool (freeware/shareware?) which sums the internet
traffic of specific applications running on my server? Want to know which
application causes how much traffic within one day/week/month.

I already have found this tool, but it seems it can only limit the speed
(kb/s), not a traffic amount within a specified time.

Netlimiter offers statistical internet traffic data. It includes
real-time traffic measurement and long-term per-application
internet traffic statistics.

The display intervals is as far as I can see:

Today
Yesterday
This month
Previous month
This year
All years
