toolbar customization in Windows Explorer

Is there a way to customize toolbar in Windows Explorer on Vista ? What I
really want to add is the Delete icon (red 'X' in Windows XP). I know I
can click on Organize/Delete but that is sooo inconvenient .......

Not natively, but there are third party tools available to add that and
other buttons.

I also miss Explorer toolbar customization. I miss things I used to be
able to do like quickly delete files and folders. I used Cut, Copy &
Paste quite a bit too.

I hate when "upgrades" get rid of features you've used for years.
