Open IE and click on "tools" tab. Look for "Suggested Sites" and remove the
check mark.

Are you using IE8? It has something called "Web Slices" which I believe are
suggested sites. If this is your situation, go into IE's options and make
your changes. Otherwise, post back with your version of Vista (i.e., Vista
Home Premium Service Pack 2) and the browser/version you are using (i.e.,
Firefox 3.0.1, Internet Explorer 7, etc.).

I suggest you post this question in the newsgroup for IE where the IE
experts (of whom I am not one) can help you.

In your newsreader: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

From the web - http://www.microsoft.com/communities...roups/list/en-
us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer. general

Try opening IE, select "tools" then uncheck "Suggested Sites."
