"Total internet error" message resolution!

When logging on to my comp. (using windows vista home premium) I get an error
message stating that"This software is not properly configured to run with the
current user profile and I must reinstall Total Internet Software while I am
logged into present profile. How do I resolve this error, and what software
is the message referring to?

Are you using a desktop or laptop.
I get the error you, describe if I turn on my laptop on battery power as
soon as I plug it into mains all OK.
Basically it is conserving power when on battery, by switching off all Areo
features.

Bob J,
I am using a desk top Dell. My lap top does not give me the error. I can't
figure what software to reinstall to resolve. Thanx anyway

Your internet software is your browser: ie. IE 7, try reinstalling.
