touchpad

I ristart my pc and install vista ultimate after vista home and now touch pad
dosent work at all, I have to use mose to work on it.
I instal synaptic but still nothing, when i try to update show's me error
code 8024000B.
Please if anyone can halpe me with this couze I feel boring with this....

Is everything OK if you reinstall Vista Home?

win vista 64 home is a pain after update so slow like 95 any good mac to go
on a hp 64 bit 1.5 old puter it took 1.75 to load update on dsl top or is
this the norm for vista 64 bit home / ? from me
