I used Windows media player 7 which had the ability to show all the clips
available in the Now Playing Section of the Media Player from a cgi
streaming link. Then over time as the files I was listening to were upgraded
I received indications that I had to upgrade my media player in order to be
able to continue listening as the formats were not recognized. So I upgraded
to media player 10.I can once again listen to the streaming file link but
all I get is one line, of I guess would be the track or clip showing up in
the Now Playing section of the Player but all of the rest of the 19 tracks
or clips that should be showing up are not. This streaming audio is
available to real audio as well as WMP players and if I chose real audio on
the web site the clips or tracks does show up in this player, also my other
computer still has media player 7 on it and all the info shows up in it.
The reason why I like the individual clips to show up is that I can go
straight to that clip and listen rather than having to click on next until I
reach that particular clip.
The last wierd thing is that if I click on the library tab and you get the
split window with the now playing on the bottom left of the window and look
at the right window of the actual audio playing at the bottom of that you
will see it say in the info bar 21 items but it doesn't list those tracks or
clips as media player 7 did or Real Audio does. Also in the Column headings
I can select track to show up as a column but it is not visible when you
look at all of the columns. Hmmmmm
If you need any screen shots let me know. I put the media player 10 on the
other computer that had media player 7 and it does the same thing no track
or clips showing so I used goback and took that computer back to 7. The
information is now showing. Is ther any kind of plug-in or other
enhancements that would fix this problem or another update. Thanks
