The Tragedy called Vista, some astonishing revelations...

Some people cannot grasp even the simplest things regarding vista.

As a reply to Franks stupid accusations that I never post anything original,
or even worse that im not smart,
I thought I would take a few minutes to pulverize him.

Bear with me through some simple and amusing calculations, that will let
your jaw drop....

We all know that vista is slower than xp, some say its 40%, and some say its
the same as xp.

I will be very generous with vista and say its ONLY 5% slower than XP.

Now lets say that each computer in the world suddenly adopts Vista.. what
impact would this have?

If we could say that each computer is working on average 10 hours a day
we would have=

10x60 =600min per day of computer uptime per computer.

Now the %5 of that is 30 minutes. Or in other words each vista machine will
be working 30 minutes more
to do the same tasks XP would do.

Now lets say that all the windows computers in the world are 2 billion ( a
number bill gates stated a couple of months ago)

then we would have 2.000.000.000 x 30 = 60 billion minutes more of
processing time world wide each day just because of vista.
or one billion hours or about 41.6 million years of computing time PER DAY

if we had to run ONE computer for 41.6 million years it would consume (if we
say the pc is 300watts)

300 billion watt hours, or lets convert this to mega joules - 300 ^E9 x 3.6
k joules = 1080000 MJ
more than one million megajoules...!!!

Now, normal gasoline has the energy of 34.8 megajoules per liter, so lets
find out how many liters of gasoline all these vista machines are consuming
(because electricity is made by fosil fules mostly)
1080000/34.8 = 31034 liters of gasoline.... per day, that is about 31 tons
of gasoline since one ton is 1000 liters,

and to carry all this gasoline you would need 1 Medium Range tanker ship PER
DAY!!!! (since a medium range tanker can carry 25- 45 tons of fuel)

Now that is a very vista friendly estimate... in reality you would have
several tankers full of fuel burning and contributing to the carbon in our
atmosphere just because of vista...

So much for global warming.. lol

This is what you need to do on your system.

Open up the Config.INI file.

Type the following command in to make Vista work better:

SET MENTAL_RETARD="On the Bridge"

Once you do that your system will become stable.

Then next week. Format your PC.

Install Ubuntu.

Set up Tryst with Alias.

Worse is the thought that if all those computers had to run Vista, the
world's landfills would be filled to capacity with older hardware unable to
run Vista. Of course one could save them from this early death by
installing Linux on them. But if that was done, nobody would move to Vista.
Ultimately, that's what's got Microsoft upset. As soon as people start to
realize that the hardware they have now can continue to be very useful and
productive by going with Linux and in many cases a 5 year old computer
running Linux runs much faster than a new computer running Vista, a
sizeable contribution towards saving this planet will have been made.

Cheers.

Now factor in the advanced power savings in vista and do the sums properly
and see how much would really be saved.

Now prove global warming is caused by man.

Proof positive how out of touch you are with reality! But, we already knew
that. <sigh>

Interesting theory...flawed but interesting !! Now recalculate your theory
for the fact that Vista is faster and see what you come up with ... Just
because Vista may be slower on your machine (if you actually ever ran it )
as well as a few others does NOT make it fact..!! Try and swallow that while
you consider that Vista while flawed is a safer more secure operating system
for the average user....Also if you don't choke on your last load consider
the fact that Vista is MUCH faster than XP on SOME machines...I am not a so
called fan boy of Vista as Hell I know it is flawed and if Microsoft had not
been pressured to push Vista out the door maybe it would have been a better
operating system.... My theory is that Microsoft should take about 6 years
working on windows7 before release for Beta's to begin and make it right
before releasing it.... Until then support both XP as well as Vista.... just
my 3 cents
