Hi

since yesterday I get an Error ("the transfer syntax is not supporte
by the RPC server") while Backing up my System. I'm not sure, but
think this error appeared after the installation of Nero8, though
uninstalled Nero the Error didn't clear out ....
Does anybody know how to solve this problem

Corrupt registry entries cause this issue. I reckon You have a x64
system. I literally tried everything, digged deep, searched Internet
inside out - but could not help with it. Only a clean reinstall solved
the problem ( I could NOT enter any SR -points, obviously, and even
Norton Ghost could not solve it). Probably a non - (or partly)
compatible registry - cleaner has caused all the havoc. Since then I
refrain from using such "shady" programs...

Nero8 and after a few days Windows Backup started working again ...
