Transfer WLM emails daily between computers

I have an Office and Home computer. WLM on my Office computer downloads all
of my emails and removes them from the server. WLM on my Home computer
downloads emails but leaves them on the server. I would like to transfer at
the end of each day any new Office emails (located in folders created by
message rules) to my Home computer so that when I start WLM on my Home
computer, I have an exact replica of all of my Office emails (and located in
their correct folders). My efforts to date result in my Home computer having
duplicate folders, duplicate messages and very little "synchronicity".
Apparently, there is more to this than just copying the Office folders and
emails and pasting them into WLM on my Home computer. Are there other files
or folders that I need to copy/paste also (e.g., database or index files)
that would allow my Home computer to exhibit an exact duplicate of WLM as my
Office computer. When I used Outlook Express, all I had to do was copy all
of the dbx files from one computer to the other. Thanks for any insights.

The difference between OE and WLM is that a DBX file in OE contains not
only all the messages for a folder, but the index as well. In WLM each
message is an operating system EML file and there is a single index
Mail.MSMessageStore for all folders, accounts, etc.

I don't know if transferring the Mail.MSMessageStore along with all the
folders of EML files would get you into trouble or not.

What you are trying to do isn't supported by the product.

The ideal way to do what you want is to use a mail service that supports
IMAP (or HTTP - Hotmail). That's designed for multiple devices/programs
to share a single e-mail account. All mail is stored on the mail
server and PCs/mail programs synchronize with it so that the mail
programs mirrors the mail server. One downside of IMAP is that WLM does
support message rules for IMAP.

Should it be?
One downside of IMAP is that WLM does *not* support message rules for IMAP.

I used to do this successfully on 2 x XP computers by the following:
1. Close WLM on both
2. Copy the Windows Live Mail folder from the Office computer to a USB device
3. Delete the Windows Live Mail folder on the Home computer
4. Copy the Windows Live Mail folder from the USB device to the Home computer.

This moves all the accounts as well. The only issue is that the account
passwords have to be re-entered on the Home computer.

BUT, when I tried this between a Windows 7 computer and an XP computer WLM
failed to open with a corrupt file messge - the only way to get the messages
across was to use Export Import - then, of course, the messages end up in
their correct folders but all in the Imported Messages folder.

On of the reasons I use POP3 rather than IMAP is (1) I want my emails stored
locally on my hard drive because I do not always have internet access; (2) I
want them organized in certain folders which necessitates message rules; (3)
I use an index program to index them because these emails contain a wealth of
knowledge--primarily from various listservs to which I subscribe; and (4) I
don't want to have to copy all emails from my Office omputer every evening
before I go home, just the new ones which need to be transferred to my Home
computer.

And because I have migrated to Windows 7 (at least on my Home computer for
now), WLM seems to be the best option at this time.

I don't understand why this synchronization between WLM on two desktop
computers can't be a simple process.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I will try them out and report back.

John's suggestion below appears to work. I transferred my "Office" WLM
accounts and folders and messages to my "Home" WLM computer. Thanks!
