transferring files and lost emoticons...

I just transferred my files and stuff to a flash drive, then reformatted my
computer, when I put everything back on, or am still trying to I should say,
I do not seem to have my emoticons on messenger anymore, also the mediaid.
files that are under the file "windows.old." I have no idea what to do with
them...

You cannot pass emoticons to other pcs. If you bought emoticons throw paid
services, you will be able to download them again. The others are losted,
sorry.

Hi,

That is incorrect. You can happily copy them from machine to machine. The only exception is
that you can't copy them between different Live IDs.
