Hi Ian,
Thanks for the info, however, what I did was to delete the (shortcut) icon
and created a new one on the desktop
from the original folder. This solved the problem. I still think it had
something to do with "burning to disk",
as the fat down-arrow is used for that purpose, although there was nothing
in that folder awaiting a burn!
Probably just a "VA" (Vista Anomaly.)
