I have installed two operating systems each on there own hard disks ( XP ) on
the same computerone of them works good, the other I don't seem to be able to
get the tray icons to come up, even when a program is running the icons don't
show I can get norton antivirus and the sound card to show but that't it...Is
there a way to refresh the tray icons ?? any one know

This newsgroup is for support of Windows Update, Mark. You should post your
issues, and make sure to note whether you're automatically hiding unused
icons as part of your Taskbar options, to the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general newsgroup.

I know this is for update problems but this all started after updating ?

Hi Steve, That link was good it worked like a charm, looks like I am going to
have to log out and log in each time I'm on that drive, but at least I know
it is a unknow problem that has accured with other people. Thanks a bunch for
the help.....Mark
