I am trying to install Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security advanced5
released today. The install guide contains the following

If Microsoft ISA Server or a proxy product is installed on the network, you
need to
enable the HTTP port (80 or 8080) and SSL port (443 or 4343) to enable
access to the
Web console and to ensure that client-server communication can be established.

Can someone provide simple instruction on enable SSL (443 or 4343)

Thanks

Dan

ISA 2004 by default allows SSL on port 443 only. It takes a
registry change to get around that, or another solution to this problem is
ISAtpre, which makes it lots easier. You also need to define TCP port 4343
as a known protocol.

Are you using ISA? If not, there's nothing to open.

As I see you're quoting a very, very old thread here - I suggest you not use
Egghead Cafe, Techarena, or other web mirrors of the NNTP servers - you will
not be looking at current data, and they don't generally quote/reply
properly.

Try using a news client, such as Forte Agent, Thunderbird, or even Outlook
Express, instead. It's a lot easier to do nearly everything that way. You
can mark messages to be watched, filter the views so you can see replies to
your posts easily, and search.

The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like; no authentication is required.
