We have just recieved a couple of Treo 700w from Verizon and so far they are
very nice. I have it set up to sync with our exchange server without having
to connect it to a desktop using the Activesync that is on the Treo. That
part works great except for the fact that there are some options not
available that you have when you are connected to a desktop. You can not
select subfolders of your Inbox. You also can not sync with Public Folders
anywhere. What software do others use to sync subfolders of your Inbox and
to sync Public Folders? I want to be able to do this without having to
connect to a desktop.

1. You can select subfolders of your Inbox. In Messaging, go Menu ->
Tools -> Manage Folders, expand the Inbox, and select the folders you
want.

2. You are correct - you cannot sync with public folders. There's no
way around this if you sync directly to Exchange.
