I spent all night trying to delete a trojan virus being sent through Windows
live messenger. It sent a virus to all on my contact list and then was sent
back. My daughter got this not sure how but it affects everyone on your
computer.

Is Microsoft doing something to stop this? Or what can be done in the
future to avoid this happening. I still not sure if it's gone but when I
reinstall messanger I guess I'll get my answer. For anyone else getting this
virus Superantispyware was able to detect and delete when mcafee, avg were
not able to detect.

Never did find out the exact name but it is a Trojan virus/gen i believe and
you are looking for fxstaller or fxsteller files and they are in your
registry start up if you check msconfig. Just thought i'd share in case MSN
and other are interested to try and avoid this. Ok back to checking out my
computer for anymore damage I'm so happy my user accounts and files appear to
be back.
