While using my Ad Aware and AVG programs it found 2 viruses one file called
winmodem.exe, and one named rundll 32.exe. Neither can be deleted because
they are windows operating files. My windows file protection warning states
these files have been corrupted. How do I proceed?

What is the actual virus name reported by AVG? Not the file name - the virus
name.
