trouble installing windows sp2 update

Microsoft has made several attempts to download and install the new SP2
update, but it always fails, it doesn't say why or what I should do about it.
I sure don't know, has anyone else had this problem?? Thank you, Patti

Hi

Some log files you can check for any clues or error messages:

%windir%\WindowsUpdate.log (if you install SP2 from WU)
%windir%\Svcpack.log
%windir%\setupapi.log

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)
