I recently tried to load Turbo Tax and was greeted by message that computer
needs service pack 2. Ive had multiple problems with computer hanging up mid
installation. Ive tried all links given is past threads to no avail.I am
using a computer of my fathers with xp(service pack 1).Last year I purchased
xp(service pack2) and installed it in my last computer. Is it possible to use
same software for 2 computers?(sorry probably stupid question but i am
computer ignorant). When i try to install xp software, computer says NVIDIA
driver not compatible. Then quits. Is this an optional driver my father may
have downloaded that can be removed. Is this my best way to acquire service
pack 2.There are mulitiple updates needed to be downloaded besides service
pack but they too hang when it gets to Security update for Windows Media
9.Ive been trying for 3 days to find solution but im sooo confused.

Why do you keep starting new threads?

See my replies to your original thread. If you need further assistance,
reply to THAT thread only:

No, you cannot use the CD you bought on your father's machine.

If SP2 is not installed, you will not be able to use Windows Update to
install it or any other updates.

Also have you gone to the NVIDIA site and downloaded update drivers?
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Download the driver which is applicable to your system, install it and then
try SP2 again.

One computer, one WinXP licence. You cannot use the same WinXP package on
two computers.
