Trouble opening items on taskbar

For the past 2 days, I cannot maximize items on the taskbar by clicking them
if another program is already open. Instead, I need to close or minimize the
open item before maximizing the first one.

In addition, I cannot close items on the taskbar by right clicking and
selecting the "x." Instead, I need to maximize it first and then close it.
Very annoying.

These problems are new in the past few days.

Hi Kwiz

Have you tried a restart to see if that would clear the problem fo
you? Hopefully, it will be that simple for you
