I don't know much about computers, but I DO know that after the latest
updates, the Road Runner main page isn't loading properly, nor are image
files in HTML. I checked the ActiveX settings, and all is correct. Java
works ok too. The RR help desk says that I should call MS support, but I
don't see why I should pay for the phone call when THEY screwed up...

Microsoft has released a patch for their April updates that have caused
problems with a large number of users. You should have been offered the fix
in an Update. If you Google this search: april updates cause internet
explorer problems
you will get lots of information.

the patch, but it won't install--says it does not match the version of
Windows I am running!!! I am running Windows XP Home SP2. HELP!!!!!

I've had the same problem. I ended up getting all frustrated over it. Tech
support was worthless. I ended up using "GoBack" to restore my previous
settings. But recently it returned, even when I use Netscape Navigator.

I'm going to add/remove programs to see where installs can be backed out.

I have done System Restore 3 times, and it does not correct the problem. It
gives me the message that it cannot restore, as there have been no changes to
my computer. It completely ignores the 25 updates that have been added since
the restore to date!!!!
