Trouble setting up a new 5.0 Phone

When I try to sync the new phone I get the following message:
"The security certificate on the server is invalid. Contact your Exchange
Server administrator or ISP to install a valid certificate on the server."

Are you trying to sync to your Exchange server? if so have you, erm, gotten
the certificate from your admin?

Yes with exchange. Our server has a cert and the phone is pointer to that
site owa.domain.com

Hi,
Is the cert a wild card cert? If so then Windows Mobile does not support
wild card certificates.

Another possible issue is that the cert was a locally issued cert. In that
case you must export the cert in .DER format and then import it on your
device before you can sync.
