Been trying many times to install SP2 with same results. Starts just fine,
then aborts with "acces is denied" error message. Then runs through and does
the uninstall. I have more than adequate HD space, and recently defragged my
HD. HP recommended those 2 items. I've also tried with my Anti-virus
disabled, with no luck. All other updates are installed. Installed fine on
my laptop, which is setup almost the same way, just an older machine. Any
help is greatly appreciated.

You are not alone with this problem Have received the same message from both
the download and the CD. Have posted and asked for help on this also.
