trouble when vista download updates

hello, today something strange happens to me, hedownloadthe filles and
restart normally,but when he was installing the software, he restarted again
whitout finish the update andthis happens every time thati tried to turn on
the computer

Boot to the safe mode menu (F8 on restart's black screen after the BIOS
info) and run a system restore. Choose "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" At
the command prompt, type rstrui.exe, and then press ENTER.

Mark,

This does not work for me.. the safe mode will not go to a prompt, but to
the update screen every time.. have tried every safe mode available (ie. last
known good config, safe mode with prompt, safe mode with networking, etc..

No matter what safe mode you choose, it goes to the update and continues to
loop forever..
