Windows Update has pushed down patch KB930857 to my Vista Ultimate system.
Every time I try to install this patch, either manually from Windows Update
or automatically when shutting down the PC, the installation hangs. Looking
at the Event Viewer, trustedinstaller.exe crashes while installing that
patch. I have successfully installed other patches provided via Windows
Update in the past.
This happens every time I try to shut down the computer.
How do I install this patch without crashing trustedinstaller.exe or
alternatively, how do I exclude this patch from trying to be installed?
