Trying to find the clock on Vista

At one time there was a clock on my desktop, and seemed like the calendar was
there to. I dont know what happen but it disappeared, where do I go to get
it back?????

That is the side bar, Go to Control Panel/ Windows SideBar.

If the Windows Sidebar is not running, you can use these two tutorial
to show you how to get it back

From there, you can click on the Sidebar "Add Gadgets" button to ope
the Gadgets Window, from which you can drag-and-drop whatever gadget
you want onto the sidebar
