Trying to install and getting ERROR 105

I am trying to install a game for my shild (a learning game) and when I put
the disk in and it starts to read it, an error pops up. I says "Setup is
unable to proceed with the installation. Restart system and try again." But
not even an hour before a installed a different game for her to play,
actually 3 different games, that she played. I have since tried several
different games and it keeps poping up with am error about "ISSET_SE caused
a General Protection Fault in....." some crazy <unknown> mode.
