The built-in Administrator is disabled by default in Vista. (BTW, this is
one of the prime reasons you should make yourself one or two extra user
accounts with administrative privileges.) You should be running as a
standard user for daily work.
Any passwords associated with accounts are ones that you assigned yourself.
You might try right-clicking on the installer for your editor and then
choosing "run as Administrator".
