This has nothing to do with Vista. You must uninstall the trial version
before installing Office 2003. Now you will have to uninstall Office 2003
first, reboot & then try again to remove the trial version. You migh have to
manually remove the trial program. You should remove all the leftover office
program folders--program files & folders only, leave your documents folder
alone--reboot and reinstall Office 2003 again. I don't think the Windows
installer remover has anything to do with Office. These articles might help:
