Trying to Slipstream a Dell Reinstallation CD

I tried to create a slipstream disk by copying my Dell reinstallation CD to a
file called xp in my root directory. I then downloaded Windows XP Service
Pack 2 Network Installation Package for IT Professionals and Developers to a
file called sp2 in my root directory. I then went to the command prompt and
entered c:\sp2\windowsxp-KB835935-sp2-enu /integrate:c:\xp. After some system
activity I got a message saying "This Service Pack cannot be integrated into
a destination that also has integrated software updates. consult the Service
Pack documentation for more details about exported integration scenarios".
It seems to me that I either need to be provided an original MS XP Home
Edition CD by Dell or I need Dell to provide me an upgraded reinstallation
CD. Can either of these be accomplished?
Thanks.

When you bought your computer, you agreed to accept the terms of a
preinstalled OEM operating system.. Dell have fulfilled their part by
supplying a means of re-installation.. if you want a slipstreamed version,
you will have to buy a pre-SP2 installation CD along with a legal
license/key or buy a version that already has SP2 integrated..

You need to ask Dell.
But Dell has no responsibility to provide you with additional CDs.

Did you get a Windows XP CD with your Dell? When I got my Dell it came with a
Restore CD and a Windows XP CD.
