trying to update my sistr in laws PC

I am trying to fully update my sister in las PC she still has Windows XP home
edition service Pack 1 installed and can't get or install Service Pack 2
because of the follwing error code 0x80072EE2 Can anyone please help me with
this?

Either download the entire SP2 package and *save* it:

0x80072EE2 translates to a request timeout issue. If, after installing
SP2, the error is still appearing, then start a new thread with the
error code as the Subject.
