Trying to update to Vista SP1.

All drivers have been updated; all prereq installed but WU does not offer SP1
when I try. This is the message I find in windowsupdate.log. What does it
mean?

Thanks Carey but I am a bit hesitant to install the stand alone SP1 until I
better understand why WU failed. I am still working with both HP and MS
supports and I hope one of them will give a precise diagnostic. If not I'll
take a chance with the stand alone version.

Thanks. Indeed SP1 was installed this morning by automatic updates in less
than 45 minutes and without a hitch!
Still I would like to understand one day why I could not get it through a
"manual" WU and why nobody at MS or at HP directed me to the
windowsupdate.log where the answer probably lies. But I must confess I had
not adressed it to the dedicated SP1 MS support!
Anyhow thanks for taking the time to post. See you soon.
BTW I still need to find out if PS1 keeps its promises.
