Ever since I installed the recent updates form this past Tuesday, I cannot
load Quicken 2009. When I try, I get the dialog box saying that an error
has occured. I tried to run the application as Administrator, but the same
problem occurs. Has this happened to anyone else and, if so, is there a
fix?

Before that, do a system restore to back before the updates. See if it
works. If it does, install the updates again. That way you know for
sure it's update related and not a coincidence.

If you want to nail it down further, apply the updates one at a time
and retest Quicken.

After that, contact Intuit support with some evidence in hand.
