now that I think about it, it is probably because I use Windows Live
OneCare. I think it uses the default windows backup stuff to run its
backups, so it disabled the built in auto backup since it was going to do
its own auto backup. I guess that the "turn off" button is not a toggle
function that displays turn on when off or turn off when on. it just shows
up when its off I guess. This might help you:
