turning off the popup balloon about not having windows update turn

I don't have automatic updates turned on and I don't want automatic updates
turned. Why does Windows have to post that balloon everytime I turn around,
getting in the way, stating that Automatic updates is not turned on!

Does anyone know how to turn off this alert? I use AVG internet security
many thanks.

What does "I use AVG internet security" have to do with Windows Automatic
Updates? heh

Change How Security Center Alerts Me:

- Open the Security Center by double-clicking its icon next to the time or
type Security Center in the search box in the start menu and click Security
Center or Control Panel --> Security Center.
