Turning Taskbar Transparency Off

Is it possible to turn off the task bar transparency so it always shows solid
without turning off Aero or without turning transparency off completely?
I Like the transparent windows but would like to have a solid task bar. Is
this even conceivable without a 3rd party app?? Is there a Registry setting
for this?

Its probably possible through a registry setting, but its a give and take
right now. If you increase the color intensity under Windows Color and
Appearance (Personalize) you will get the transparency to lessen, but you
will just have to go back to Aero Basic if you don't want the transparency
on the Taskbar.
