I am having trouble getting the proper information on the guide for Vista
Media Center. I entered in my information and found what used to be the
proper area for my listings. Evidentally that data has changed. I found some
threads about people emailing zap2it. I first looked on the zap2it site and
found that there is a rebuild and a cable version. Wouldn't you know it the
one I need is not in the list in media center. .I tried that on Saturday and
yet nothing is changed. Today is Wednesday. All people that have posted
before had the solution solved in two days or less. What other options do I
have to get correct information or to get some correct information from
another place besides zap2it?

I also have the same problem. I contacted Microsoft support on Sept. 10,
2007. They researched it for 3 days. The correct file is on the Zap2it. com
site....Vista doesn't see the file nor give you access to the file. I was
told that 35 cases of this problem have been reported in my area and the
cases are still unresolved. I was also told that the problem will be
addressed in the next service pack. My question is ....why do I have to wait
for the service pack? The should be an easy fix for them. Can I get some help
with this? Without the EPG...their isn't a need to even have the Vista Media
Center since you can't record anything with out the guide. If Microsoft can't
support this....then they should allow for the use of other EPG's so that we
can get the media centers to atleast work correctly.

You are not talking to anyone from MS here.

There is a newsgroup for media center discussion...
microsoft.public.windows.mediacenter
