I'm not sure if anyone is answering Win 7 questions yet?

I used the signal strength monitor to adjust my antenna for the best signal,
I was able to get a excellent signal on every channel except for 2 channels
(0 or 1 bars max). On those 2 channels I am not able to watch Live TV this
is understandable. However when I schedule recordings on those 2 channels, I
have gotten perfect recordings (no dropouts) for the last 2 weeks.

Does anyone know why LiveTV won't work when a straight recording works.

I have Windows 7 RTM x86, 2 HVR 2250s

Thanks

B.D.

Are the channels you can not get live 720p or 1080i channels?
Are the channels you can not get live both on VHF frequencies or both on UHF
frequencies?
Normally the ability to record but not watch live TV is caused by the use of
a shared IRQ between the tuner card and the graphics card.
Have the successful recordings and the failed Live TV broadcasts occurred
on the same day?

Both channels are in 1080i and UHF. Yes they have occured on same day within
the same boot cycle. Live TV has never worked on those 2 channels, and
recordings have not failed (no dropouts during a 1 hour recording) on those 2
channels yet.

LiveTV works for all channels except the 2 that I mentioned.

If you are not having a problem with 720p or 480i channels then I suspect
the shared IRQ problem I referred to in my last post.
If possible separate the slots used by your graphics card and your tuner
card as much as possible.
