Two different problems

Hi all,

Looking for some help:

Problem 1:
Everything goes fine sync'g my laptop (Dell running Vista Home Premium) with
my device (Samsung Omnia). Then one day I'll connect device and it appears
to take a long time to connect via WMDC (6.1). After a while it connects,
syncs, and all the data on the device is gone. I'm forced to delete the
partnership and try to resync. But then problem 2 occurs.

Problem 2:
We establish a new partnership but when I try to configure all the settings,
only the Mobile Favorites and Files settings are available in WMDC. All the
rest have a message that 'Outlook is not installed' but it is. I am then
forced to uninstall WMDC, reboot, reinstall WMDC -- but it may or amy not
work. I've tried running SCANPST and FIXMAPI but that doesn't help.

I'd appreciate any pointers to fix the problem. Also, any pointers on why
problem 1 occurs?

Thanks

Hi,
Check and see if the old partnership still exists on your Windows Mobile
Device in ActiveSync on the device. When you delete the partnership on the
PC, you need to delete it on your device too.
