1. Customized user status like yahoo messenger does. I do not like the way
Plus! is doing.
2. Password to open message log!!! Really a safety issue but MS never
aware...

Yes, but, not everyone wants to. A lot of schools, for example, still use
FAT 32, and students using Messenger at school, should have password
protection to their Messenger logs.

As far as Microsoft is concerned, FAT32 is a dead-end FS that they won't be
building anything upon.

They aren't going to make any features that are dependent on it.

No relation. Anyone have administrator rights can view the log whatever
using NTFS/FAT, so it should defenitely password protected.
